What is REX License?

A Multimodal Transport Operator (MTO) License is a license granted to a company or individual by the regulatory authorities in some countries to operate as a Multimodal Transport Operator. A Multimodal Transport Operator is a type of transportation company that offers to transport goods using various modes of transport, such as road, rail, sea, and air.

An MTO License allows the holder to provide door-to-door or port-to-port transport services for customers, using a combination of different modes of transport. In many cases, MTOs may also provide services such as cargo consolidation, customs clearance, and other logistics services.

The specific requirements and regulations for obtaining an MTO License can vary depending on the country or region. In some cases, an MTO may need to meet certain financial and insurance requirements, demonstrate their ability to operate effectively across different modes of transport and adhere to certain safety and environmental standards.
