Potable Water Bottles (Quality Control) Order, 2023
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) on July 06, 2023, notified the Potable Water Bottles (Quality Control) Order, 2023 under the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016.
Scope of IS 17803:2022
1.1 Minimum Requirements for Potable Water Bottles
IS 17803:2022 sets forth a comprehensive set of minimum requirements for potable water bottles made of copper, stainless steel, and aluminum. These requirements are designed to ensure that the bottles are safe for carrying drinking water up to 1,500 ml.
