Yes. ESIC registration is mandatory for establishments covered under the ESI Act, 1948, once the employee and wage threshold is met.

Employees earning up to ₹21,000 per month are covered. For persons with disabilities, the limit is ₹25,000 per month.

Within 15 days from the date the ESIC Act becomes applicable to the establishment.

Yes. Once registered, ESIC coverage continues even if the number of employees falls below the minimum limit.
